Well done to Leixlip United Academy graduate and SFAI winner, Andrew Omobamidele.

After playing a starring role with the Ireland Under 17's in the European U17 championship earlier in the summer he was one of only 3 players from that squad to be included in the Ireland Under 19's squad who are currently playing at the U 19 European Championship in Armenia.

Andrew came on in their first game against Norway and the team have gone on to qualify for the Semi Final against Portugal. 

Andrew is currently playing with Norwich City but always comes back to visit us in LUFC.
